EQUIPMENT FOR TESTING WHEEL GEOMETRY IN TEST RIGS
GERAET ZUR PRUEFUNG DER RADGEOMETRIE IN DIAGNOSEANLAGEN
An axle measuring apparatus for use in vehicle inspection plants is described, which in two circuits determines the total track and camber of both front wheels of a car. The measuring procedure is an optical nil method. The evaluation and indication of the measured values takes place with apparatus accuracy of + or - 5', mechanically and electrically. The automatic axle surveying is started and ended from a central control unit. Manual operation is possible. The covering abstract for the conference is IRRD no. 208556. /TRRL/
