ADVANCES IN INSTRUMENTATION VOL. 30
The Proceedings of the 30th Annual ISA Conference contains 115 papers reporting on the state-of-the-art in instrumentation and process control. The Conference was held in Milwaukee, October 6-9, 1975 and focused on the theme, "The Real World in Instrumentation". Sixteen ISA technical divisions programmed the Conference around current economic and environmental concerns, inlcuding 28 manufacturers' application papers. PART 1: Programming control systems, new breakthroughs in digital systems, applications of digital computers in the process industry, computerized systems for energy conservation and in the power industry, applications for the food industry, advances in telemetry, high temperature strain measurement. PART 2: Pulp and paper instrumentation, process stream analyzers, environmental concerns, mining and metallurgy instrumentation, instrumentation in crushing and grinding plants, environmental monitoring and recording. PART 3: Environmental measurement and control, control valves for severe service environments, applied advance control theory, chemical and petroleum instrumentation, cryogen tank gaging and flow measurement theory, power instrumentation maintenance, nuclear safety, marine science, instrument training.
