COAST GUARD ADDS SULPHUR DIOXIDE TO LIST OF CARGOES REGULATED BY SUBCHAPTER "O"

New Coast Guard regulations published in the January 21 FEDERAL REGISTER contain requirements for cargo tanks and cargo transfer operations in the transportation of sulphur dioxide. A copy of the regulations, effective February 20, 1976, may be obtained from American Waterways Operators headquarters.
