INSTALLATION OF OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR COLD WEATHER STARTING IN EMERGENCY CONDITIONS
In order for a power company fleet to be effective in its operations it must maintain a high level of fleet availability. In the northern part of the country, this is closely related to cold weather starting. Practices have been established and equipment introduced to combat cold weather problems. These are discussed, along with the implementation costs involved. /GMRL/
