INTERIM REPORT VOLUME 6: AN EVALUATION OF THE STRUCTURAL COEFFICIENTS FOR BASE COURSE MATERIALS
This report is the sixth of an eight-volume series which constitutes the Interim Report for PennDOT Project 71-7 entitled "An Evaluation of Pennsylvania's Flexible Pavement Design Methodology." This volume is concerned with the evaluation of structural coefficients using the theory of elasticity. Two concepts are employed to calculate the structural coefficients: surface deflection and ultimate tensile strength. The results from both methods are compared with the field data for verification.
