DEVELOPMENT OF A PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR BEIJING ARTERIAL RURAL HIGHWAY

This paper presents a network level pavement management system bjnpms-1, developed for the beijing arterial rural highways. Bjnpms-1 is a simple system that is composed of a database and five different models, namely the performance evaluation subsystem, m & r (maintenance and rehabilitation) action model, cost model, priority ranking model, and m & R model.
