INCIDENCE OF ACCIDENTS TO FOREIGNERS IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY. PROCEEDINGS - 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ROAD ACCIDENT TRAUMA ON TRANSIT ROUTES, ZAGREB, 21-23 MAY 1987
The paper discusses data on traffic accidents in the Federal republic of Germany caused by foreign drivers who live outside the Federal republic of Germany itself. Foreign drivers cause more accidents than local ones, especially on motorways. They also cause more rear end collisions. One of the preventive actions is foreign driver information on specific driving conditions in Germany by means of bulletins. On the other hand, foreign drivers should obey these local specific driving conditions. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 825985.
