CENTRAL CONTROL: A DISTRIBUTED APPROACH. 1989 RAPID TRANSIT CONFERENCE OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC TRANSIT ASSOCIATION HELD IN PITTSBURGH
Brief overview of the operating enhancements that can be made possible by a distributed central office system based on presently available computer technology. SEL Canada's experience with the Hong Kong MTRC application has shown this approach to be a viable solution for improving the dispatcher/user interface in high capacity operations.
