ASPHALT CONCRETE CREEP AS RELATED TO RUTTING
A study is reported which demonstrates that the creep test is a simple tool for rutting characterization of asphalt pavements. This approach can be incorporated in a mix design routine. The methodology that is proposed attempts to offer possibility for integrating mix design and pavement structural design into a unified system. It accounts for pavement structural arrangements, traffic, and temperature effects. Mechanistic parameters that are commonly used in the pavement design are incorporated in this mixture rutting characterization procedure.
