SOME DYNAMIC MODELS FOR SPATIAL INTERACTION
ENIGE DYNAMISCHE MODELLEN VOOR RUIMTELIJKE INTERAKTIE
A general dynamic framework (as a system of difference equations) is given for programming models in a regional context. Two types of these models are discussed, viz. Linear programming and optimal control theory. An application of both types is given. Linear programming is applied to a model for a stagnating town and optimal control theory is applied to a model for dispersion of pollution, traffic and investments. Application of both types is suggested for a dynamic migration model. The covering abstract for the conference is IRRD no. 213390. /TRRL/
