IMAGINEERING
It is noted that transportation engineers are creative and imaginative because they have more contact with the public and have more practice at explaining engineering principles to those not trained in the engineering field. The interation with the city planning process forces transportation engineers to use their creativity and imagination. To solve the problems of traffic congestion and traffic safety, transportation engineers, in all fields of endeavor will be required to do more than their usual amount of imagining in the future.
