NTSB TRUCK CRASH STUDY: PRELIMINARY REPORT
The National Transportation Safety Board's preliminary findings with regard to its investigation into fatal accidents of drivers of heavy trucks and occupants of other vehicles involved in accidents with them, show that a high percentage of the truck drivers were fatigued or tested positive for drugs or alcohol and had displayed other problems prior to the fatal crashes.
