THE COMBINED EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL AND COMMON PSYCHOACTIVE DRUGS: FIELD STRUDIES WITH AN INSTRUMENTED AUTOMOBILE
The results of this experiment show that alcohol alone and in combination with other drugs affects driving performance in different ways. Measures which most clearly differentiated between drug conditions were steering movement and average velocity. Further research in this area will be needed before the manner in which driving behavior is affected by a drug can be related to physiological action of the drug. /RTAC/
