This bibliography covers current statistical sources of information published, sponsored or commissioned by the Department of Transport in the United Kingdom. The survey gives details of publications grouped in broad subject areas. These are: a) transport (general sources, passenger and freight transport, expenditure on transport, pollution, employment and energy); b) road transport (road expenditure, road lengths, road maintenance condition, bridges, traffic, accidents and casualties, motor vehicle registration and stock, vehicle defects, vehicle excise duty, driver testing, motoring offences, road freight, passenger transport, private motoring, cycling; c) rail transport; d) water transpsort; e) air transport; and f) international comparisons.
