COMPARISON OF PREDICTION METHODS FOR SAND LIQUEFACTION. PROCEEDINGS OF THE SIXTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NUMERICAL METHODS IN GEOMECHANICS, 11-15 APRIL 1988, INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA. VOLUMES 1 - 3
In recent years, several numerical methods for the liquefaction prediction have been developed. The purpose of this paper is the comparison and examination of these prediction methods for sand liquefaction. Seed's simplified method, Iwasaki-Tatsuoka's simplified method, two-dimensional effective stress analysis code diana-j and centrifuge model test are all applied to the liquefaction prediction of saturated ground and are compared with each other.
