DRINK DRIVING IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA: THE WOMAN'S EXPERIENCE. WOMEN, ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND TRAFFIC - PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, 29-30 SEPTEMBER, 1988
Sex differences with respect to drinking patterns in Australia are presented, using data from both household and roadside surveys. Several levels of drinking are then examined: roadside survey data, hospital admission data, and fatality data. Within each data set, blood alcohol levels provide the basis for comparison between men's and women's involvement in drink-driving. Where the data sets permit, temporal changes are also examined.
