AMBASSADORS OF TRANSIT. NEW METHODS TO TRAIN TRANSIT OPERATORS
The Canadian Urban Transit Association's Transit Ambassador Program which is being used by some 56 public transit agencies throughout the world is described. The program, which uses six three-hour skill-building modules and includes videotapes showing methods to be used, practice sessions, and discussions by instructors and participants, can be beneficial to both large and small systems.
