CIVIL ENGINEERING EDUCATION: CASE STUDY APPROACH

Insight is provided into the use of case studies in the civil engineering classroom, and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The case study approach is described, and a methodology for development and implementtion of case study teaching is given. Example case studies are presented. Case studies are an effective tool that brings engineering practice into the theoretical environment of the classroom.
