Authors report about considerations relating to the driving licence withdrawal and to shortening of the waiting period to receive back licence in incidents of a first alcohol offence or a flight after an accident in the case of drivers with long driving experience. In 1981 such efforts were distinctly discussed for the first time. Meanwhile they have been taken up by jurisdictions, especially by law-courts of Saarland. This is proved by series of decisions. The issue of non-justification of leaving a licence or shortening of waiting period even in cases of a long experienced driver is also discussed.
