LCC PURCHASING OF BUSES

LCC UPPHANDLING AV BUSS

The intention is that in the future acquisition of buses shall be made as lcc (life cycle costs) purchases whereby the supplier makes a commitment regarding the life cycle costs of the buses supplied. In the long term it is expected that this will lead to bus manufacturers developing technical solutions in order to ensure low life cycle costs. None of the bus manufacturers approached were willing or able to provide lcc guarantees for their buses. (Author/TRRL)
