ALTERNATIVE FUELS AND DRIVE SYSTEMS FOR BUSES. A PRESENTATION OF SWEDISH TESTS, INVESTIGATIONS AND RESULTS
Serious efforts have been made in Sweden in order to reduce exhaust emissions from buses in urban traffic. Investigations have been made in the following areas: diesel engine optimization, energy storage systems, alcohol fuels, gaseous fuels, various electric systems. This paper is a collection of summaries from various research projects. (TRRL)
