ANALYSIS OF RELATIONS BETWEEN RUT DEPTH, ROAD WIDTH, AGE OF WEARING COURSE AND TRAFFIC FLOW

This report contains an investigation focused on the relationship between rut depth, road width, age of wearing course and intensity of traffic load. Four different wearing courses have been evaluated. Hard rolled asphalt, soft rolled asphalt, single surface treatment and double surface treatment. The laser road surface tester has measured road conditions, for example rut depth, for several years. These measurements have been used in a model based on factorial design. (Author/TRRL)
