INFLUENCE OF AGGRESSIVENESS AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTOR ON THE BEHAVIOUR OF DRIVERS IN URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES

UTICAJ AGRESIVNOSTI KAO PSIHOLOSKOG FAKTORA NA PONASANJE VOZACA U JAVNOM GRADSKOM PUTNICKOM PREVOZU

The article investigates the dependence of traffic accidents on driver's aggressiveness. The hypothesis is that aggressiveness is more prominent in drivers who had accidents on urban lines run by the "Belgrade urban traffic" transport organization in Belgrade. This pattern was investigated on a sample of two groups of drivers (each group consisting of 35 drivers). The first group of drivers had at least one traffic accident while the second group consisted of drivers who had at least two traffic accidents. The results obtained can be taken into consideration when reaching decisions on the influence of aggressiveness as a psychological factor on the behaviour of drivers in urban public transport vehicles.
