POSSIBILITY OF INCREASING CONCRETE RESISTANCE TO FREEZE-THAW USING EPOXY COATINGS
MOGUCNOST POVECANJA OTPORNOSTI BETONA NA DEJSTVO MRAZA PRIMENOM EPOKSIDNIH PREMAZA
This article discusses the possibilities of increasing the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete by preventing the penetration of water into its pores. Investigations are carried out and compressive strengths are determined on concrete samples with or without epoxy coatings. It is shown that the freeze-thaw resistance can be significantly increased. This method is fully justified only as a possibility in repair works. (TRRL)
