CEMENT AND OTHER MATERIALS FOR CONCRETE

There are active standardisation activities in Europe for cements, aggregates, admixtures and pfa. The cement standardisation activity is at a reasonably advanced stage but the activities in the other three areas are only at an early stage of development. The main part of this paper is therefore concerned with the cement activity. (Author/TRRL)
