UUSIEN HENKILOAUTOJEN KAUPPA VUOSINA 1980-1986
The report deals with the pricing of cars in Finland, and the central factors in the car market in the 1980's. The report shows that during this period the number of first registrations of cars has steadily increased. Several competition restrictions concerning car trade exist in Finland. Taxes and taxlike payments make up about 50% of the price of a new car while some 30% of new cars are sold to establishments and companies. The prices of the cars selected for the study had increased by 50% during the period 1980-1986. (TRRL)
