VIBRATION BEHAVIORS OF ROADBED OR SOFT GROUNDS UNDER TRAIN LOAD
This paper discusses vibration behaviors of roadbed on soft grounds under train load. In order to estimate the effect of train load on a roadbed on soft grounds, we measured the vibration at roadbed surface and analyzed roadbed behaviors by finite element method. The measurement shows that the displacement of roadbed increase with the train speed and weakness of soft grounds under the roadbed. A theoretical analysis shows that the roadbed displacement increases with the depth of soft grounds.
