FUNDAMENTAL ASPECTS OF THE EFFECT OF PROPELLER CAVITATION ON THE RADIATED NOISE
In noise control problems the system involved is compared with three basic elements: a source, a path and a receiver. Emphasis is placed on the propeller or a noise source and as receiver upon the human ear inboard and upon hydrophones in the ship's hull or somewhere else underwater. The material also includes basics of noise and is included for completeness.
