SAFETY STUDY. NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD PUBLIC FORUM ON ALCOHOL AND DRUG SAFETY EDUCATION

The purpose of the National Transportation Safety Board's Forum (March 1985) was to examine school and community programs designed to prevent alcohol and other drug abuse, discuss the major issues surrounding alcohol/drug abuse prevention, and develop recommendations to governmental and private agencies to improve alcohol/drug abuse prevention programs. Education and safety experts from across the country joined representatives from citizens and parent groups to discuss the above mentioned issues. The results of their presentations and discussions are contained in this report accompanied by recommendations to improve the state of alcohol/safety education in the U.S.
