DRINK DRIVING FATALITIES AND CASUALTIES IN VICTORIA
Several drink driving countermeasures have been introduced in Victoria which, if successful, would reduce the numbers of accident victims with greater than the legal blood alcohol concentration (BAC). This research examines the matched accident and BAC data and concludes that, with the exception of female drivers and motorcycle fatalities, there has been a decline in the number of alcohol affected accident casualties.
