This note is the fourth based on the revised method of allocating road track costs. Tables are provided of: a) road expenditure at 1987/88 prices: annual average for 1985/86 to 1987/88; b) road costs for 1987/88 classified by road class and parameter; c) maintenance costs for 1987/88 classified by road class and expenditure item; d) kilometres of vehicle classes by road class; e) road costs per thousand parameter units for 1987/88; f) parameter values, parameter units and road costs in 1987/88 classified by vehicle class and parameter; g) goods vehicles over 1.525 tonnes unladen; parameter values and numbers of vehicles by goods vehicle subclass; h) goods vehicles over 1.525 tonnes unladen: annual kilometres per vehicle, road costs and road taxation in 1987/88: by goods vehicle subclass; and i) road taxation revenue and road costs in 1987/88 by vehicle class.
