PROCEEDINGS - 1987 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH FORUM, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, NOVEMBER 16-18, 1987

The Proceedings is a summary of the activities of the 1987 Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Forum. It complements Volume XXVIII, Number 1 of the Journal of the Transportation Research Forum in which are published many of the papers presented at the meeting. The unique contribution of the Proceedings is to record who participated in what role at the Annual Meeting and what they talked about. Speeches of the keynote and luncheon speakers are included along with summaries of each session. The program and the list of attendees are included. The session summaries are organized by the following subjects: air; rail; motor carrier; maritime; multimodal issues; public sector issues; revolutionary technologies; agricultural transport; international (Mexico-U.S.) transportation issues; and transportation book reviews. Information from the published and unpublished papers, presentations, and discussions comprising each session is included in the summaries. A few sessions which contained only presentations of papers published in the Journal have not been included.
