DRINKING AND DRIVING. A TYPOLOGICAL APPROACH COMPARING MEN AND WOMEN. WOMEN ALCOHOL DRUGS AND TRAFFIC. PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP SEPTEMBER 29-30, 1988, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
The categories of sex and age appear to be decisive in the statistical differentiation of drinking and driving behaviors and accident risks. This paper is an attempt to explore this phenomena through the results of a recent French survey describing the compatibility between drinking habits and driving habits among a sample of 1,000 drivers. It mainly deals with a systematic comparison of men and women in relation to the phenomena.
