DUTCH PROGRESS IN THE STANDARDIZATION OF GEOTEXTILE TEST METHODS ---PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON THEORY AND PRACTICE OF EARTH REINFORCEMENT, FUKUOKA, KYUSHU, JAPAN, 5-7 OCTOBER 1988
The recent work in Holland to standardize test methods for determining geotextile properties is reported in this article. Draft standards for permittivity and characteristic pore size tests are described briefly. Results are presented from an interlaboratory test programme on tensile strength test methods. The influence of the specimen width and the clamp system used upon the results is discussed. For the covering abstract of the symposium see IRRD 818063.
