HIGH SPEED RAIL: WHO WILL BE FIRST?

The concept of high speed rail in the United States and North America has been bandied about for various corridors with a few proposals for implementation or construction already in existence. As the success of the TGV in Paris continues to attract attention, the question now is which states or corridors will be the first to provide high speed rail service.
