SEISMIC RESPONSE OF CONNECTIONS IN TWO-BAY R/C FRAME SUBASSEMBLIES
The results are presented of an experimental investigation in which the behavior of connections was studied under earthquake-type loading both by testing single-connection subassemblies, as has been done in the past, and by testing multiple-connection frame subassemblies in which the elongation of the main beams was partially restrained. Variables such as the presence of transverse beams and a slab, the mount of joint reinforcement, and relocation of the flexural hinges in the beams were included. The results presented, focus only on the repsonse of connections in the multiple-connection subassembly without a floor slab.
