HOUSTON ADOPTS THE BUSWAY
A brief history of Houston's decision to implement some form of mass transit on its freeways is given. The final decision consisted of using transitways which are doubling the capability of the freeways and along with future plans will make Houston, the city, with the largest system of transitways anywhere.
