INFRASTRUCTURE: MESSAGE RECEIVED

In the last decade, the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has been a standard bearer in the campaign to educate the public and government leaders on the need to increase investment in infrastructure. After years of arduous campaigning on behalf of our nation's economic health, AGC and allied associations and organizations have begun to see results. The trend of the 1980s seems to be that Congress, state and local governments, and the voters are seeing that our nation's infrastructure is key to our economic vitality. This article lists some examples of infrastructure victories of the decade on the state and national levels.
