INVESTIGATION OF TEST PARAMETERS AFFECTING FLEXION PROPERTIES OF PART 572 DUMMY NECK, LUMBAR SPINE AND ABDOMEN
The report presents the results of tests conducted to investigate the rate dependency of abdomen and lumbar calibration tests as specified in CFR 49 Part 572. Tests were also conducted to determine the extent to which neck skin to pendulum contact affects neck flexion performance. Six Hybrid II dummies were used in testing.
