ALCOHOL, TRAUMA AND TRAFFIC SAFETY. RESEARCH ISSUES, NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Althouth jurisdiction is split among federal agencies, a systematic program of research on the role of alcohol in traffic trauma is needed. It should include experimental investigations, epidemiologic and field studies, and studies of idiosyncratic aspects of driving after drinking.
