STABILITY OF GRAVITY PLATFORMS ON CLAY: RELIABILITY ANALYSIS. DISCUSSION
This is a discussion of the above paper published in this journal Volume 38, No. 1. The discusser, K.S. Li comments on the claim that statistical correlation between spatial average strengths over different segments of the slip surface was negligible. Three causes which give rise to the statistical correlation of input soil parameters are discussed. This is followed by a reply by the author.
