HOW SUN TRAN FILLS BUS SEATS

SunTran of Tucson, Arizona has been able to attract riders to its bus system in spite of the fact that it operates in the heart of an automobile oriented area. This has been achieved through aggressive promotion campaigns and services which increase its attractiveness to riders. Upholstered seats, "stop requested" indicators, timed transfers, shuttle bus services for special events, and special fares are among some of the offerings.
