WILL YOU MEET THE EPA'S 1991 STANDARDS?
Efforts being undertaken by various bus operators to find and test alternatve fuels which will burn cleaner than presently used fuels in order to meet the 1991 deadline for particulate emissions standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency are given. Methanol, compressed natural gas as well as improvements to diesel engines are all being explored or tested around the country.
