CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS FOR USE IN MOTOR VEHICLES, PART 4: TYPE B CHILD RESTRAINTS (FORWARD FACING CHAIR WITH HARNESS). REVISED EDITION

This standard specifies particular requirements for a type B restraint system for child occupants of motor vehicles. This system is intended for use by one child from 8 kg to 18 kg mass in a forward facing position. Type b child restraints shall comply with as 1754.1 and with the specific requirements of this standard. The standard was approved on 17 October 1988 and supersedes Australian standard as 1754-1975.
