SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS AND DRINKING LOCATIONS OF CONVICTED DRUNKEN DRIVERS
Relationships between 13 sociodemographic characteristics and the frequency of drinking in 7 different types of drinking places among 6,183 adult convicted drunken drivers were investigated. Results indicate that different sociodemographic subgroups of drinking drivers tended to drink in different types of places (e.g. younger people drank in bars, at parties, in cars and parking lots).
