COMMITTED TO FULL-DEPTH HMA PAVING

The article describes the experience of the City of Brookfield, Wisconsin, where full depth, hot mix asphalt pavement has been used over the most number of miles of new street construction in the state. The history of subdivision street construction in the city is briefly described. The details are described of the first full depth roadway. Suggestions (based on experience) for improving the design technique are listsed.
