TRAIN BRAIN MIMICS ATCS CONCEPT

Danish State Railways' "Train Brain", an automatic train control system (ATCS) which uses a North American ATCS package, has positive implications for use with European style operations. Economical and comfortable driving, monitoring equipment for preventive maintenance purposes, economical use of vehicles, handling seat reservations automatically, on board passenger information displays and lower investment and costs are among the benefits expected.
