ORANGE BADGE SCHEME: PARKING FOR DISABLED PERSONS. CHRONICALLY SICK AND DISABLED PERSONS ACT 1970-SECTION 21
The results of a review by the Department of the Environment of the Orange Badge Scheme are presented. The main changes to the act are summarised: these changes relate to blind persons, to parking on yellow lines, and to the inclusion of the London borough of Islington in the scheme. The data of implementation is 1 June 1975. Further modifications in the scheme are outlined and include brighter badges, parking discs, and reserved parking spaces. Details of the new regulations, and of the badges and parking discs, together with illustrations, are given in the appendices. /TRRL/
