SECOND ORDER DIFFRACTION FORCES ON HORIZONTAL CYLINDERS
The second order diffraction forces on a floating semicircular cylinder and a submerged circular cylinder are calculated using the method of Lighthill. The first order potential is obtained by the multipole expansion and numerical results are provided.
