"YOU CAN'T GET THERE FROM HERE"--TEN OF AMERICA'S MOST CONGESTED HIGHWAYS
More than 110 million Americans commute to work each day, and 85% of them travel by automobile. As the number of cars on the road grows, funding for new road construction continues to dwindle and existing roads are jammed shoulder-to-shoulder throughout the daylight hours. Experts on commuting and traffic flow in ten major cities were asked to name the worst commuter artery in their area. The answers are presented in this article. An insert with commuting facts and figures is also included.
